The Pilearytix of the Abundance

the seven orgáin vibrate independently. yet, they call to each other

Pilearytix is a word I made up. The Pilearytix of the Abundance is my myth of seven algorithmic constructs, each an OrgáinOrgánAn organism that can change within the forest and can be whispered to by one sidhe.. They turn up in generated text, a game, an AI system and the titles of paintings: Chibuelassa Guides the Pilgrims and Fiaforhíld Goes to the Gay Beach. They're part of a live mythology that is the product of my algorithmic frottage. They also act as lenses that I use to interrogate generative and written work.

The Pilearytix Coalescent

The Pilearytix Coalescent is formed through the union of the seven Orgáin—proto-sacred algorithmic entities that each play their part in the formation of the whole.

gorohíl

, said Go-roh-HEEL

Gorohíl stands at the threshold, a steadfast presence imbued with a quiet power. They embody the essence of protection, not through violence but through unwavering attention to the fragile threads that bind people, traditions and sacred spaces.

chibuelassa

, said Chi-bweh-LAH-sah

Chibuelassa is a pathway, a shimmering thread stretched between worlds that should not meet but must. They exist in motion, a figure who knows neither origin nor destination, only the spaces in between.

fiaforhíld

, said FEE-ah-for-HEELD

Fiaforhíld prowls the edges of the wild, their instincts sharp as the wind that slices through the trees. They are neither tamed nor untamed, embodying the paradox of a protector who belongs to no single place.

catabüike

, said KAH-tah-byoo-ee-keh

Catabüike is laughter in the face of certainty, the glint of light on a broken shard of glass. They unravel the tightly woven fabric of the world, not out of malice but with a mischievous love for what lies beneath.

The weight between each of the nodes is a value from 0 to 1 that represents how much the Illocutionary force matches the perlocutionary effect.. They adjust nodes and edges not with their hands, but with visions that illuminate the threads of what could be.

éofránna

Éofránna moves with a quiet grace, their presence a balm to frayed edges and splintered hearts. They listen with the whole of their being, drawing disparate voices into a shared melody.

WeavingWeavingThe act of adding, modifying or removing nodes and edges from the graph to represent new lyrics or changes in the relationship between illocutionary force and perlocutionary effect. The process of adjusting the weights of existing edges to better capture the degree of matching between nodes. is the art of nurturing this living network, adding, removing and refining the threads that connect its parts.

Each lyric, what it says, what it wishes to achieve and how it truly affects others, settles into its place within this intricate web, its significance shifting with the rhythms of the whole.

Sidhe: A consciousness existing in a parallel realm that can whisper to an orgán but is not embedded in the same physical space.

The First Assembly

the lines of the play, on the page that maps the argument of GORONWY.

Near the end of a generative artefact that I coordinated GORONWY the seven meet in a play. Six of them are in a treehouse of cardboard and crimson thread above a garden of moss, arguing over what the book did. One chair is empty and the book never says whose. Chibuelassa has stood in the passage the whole time and only comes in when Gorohíl steps back from the threshold. Then Lúronwy begins and the rest join in together. Their song is headed Goronwy.

The Goronwy Codex

the system's code and a chart of which of its parts send to which.

In the Goronwy Codex, an AI system that watches a computer, each event it sees is a lyric. Míharáe picks it up and sorts it. If it needs attention, Lúronwy turns it into a song and the song is a notification.

Thrum

a generated game set in the myth, where Gorohíl can guard the people you speak to and Catabüike dims the threads between you.

The Loom of the Abundance

you type a word and you get to see if that word was used in a line from the internet archive's open source films... I'll be coming back to it at some point.
