A birth chart is worked out from where the planets and the horizon stood at the minute of birth, and because my birth time is uncertain I cast mine at every quarter-hour from six to nine on the morning I was born. Across those three hours the chart turns me from visible into hidden, and I can't tell which side of that change I was born on.
I made the analysis and its two plots in Python in January 2026, working with Claude in Cowork. I'm running 2026 based on the exact instructions I got for 6am. I'll do 2027 by the 9am. Watch this space.
The two chartsThese are the charts for 6:00 and 9:00 side by side. I was born once, in Ballymena, and the two differ only in the minute they assume, which is enough to move the reading from the left column to the right, with the left fading at 8:00 as the Sun goes into the twelfth house. In my analysis I called this a complete reorientation of chart emphasis (visible β hidden). The slider in the next section moves both columns, and the buttons below jump to either end.

Over these three hours the planets barely move against the stars, and nearly everything that changes comes from the Earth turning, which carries the eastern horizon through about 30Β° of the zodiac, so that by 8:52 Scorpio is rising. The Ascendant, the point of the zodiac on that horizon, advances about 10Β° an hour and the Midheaven about 14Β°. Drag the slider, press play or step through with the arrow keys.
The wheel shows which house each body is in and nothing finer. The zodiac ring turns at about 10Β° an hour beneath twelve fixed house sectors, bringing Scorpio up to the Ascendant by 9:00, and the Midheaven axis turns at its own rate. The ASC and MC dots take the colour of their sign, and the five bodies sit in the houses my plots put them in, at no particular degree.

Between six and nine the Ascendant changes sign once, from Libra into Scorpio at about 8:52, and the Midheaven once, from Cancer into Leo at about 8:08, while the planets make 11 moves from one house to another (my analysis counts more than ten across all the planets).
In my analysis, knowing the birth time only to within Β±15 minutes significantly affects:

My analysis times the Midheaven's move into Leo twice, at about 8:08 in its note on birth-time sensitivity and at 8:15 in this table, which samples every quarter-hour, and the chart above uses 8:08.

I've redrawn the first of my two plots in the page's colours and added the Mars row from the second, so the grid has seven rows (the rising sign, the Midheaven and the five bodies my analysis tracks) across the thirteen quarter-hours from 6:00 to 9:00. The white line follows the slider, and clicking a time along the top moves the chart there.
The Moon moves about 0.6Β° an hour and the other planets hardly at all, so every change on this page comes from the Ascendant climbing about 10Β° an hour and the Midheaven about 14Β°, each of which crosses one sign boundary in the three hours, Libra into Scorpio and Cancer into Leo. The red dashed line on each chart is that boundary.
